1. Write the quantity of work. Example: 1 illustration / 3 art / 25 CG.
2. For each work, specify the number of characters on it, what they are doing, where they are located. Example: "Two girls A and B are hugging on a field. A is hugging B from behind. Daisies are blooming and butterflies are flying around. It is nighttime outside".
3 Write the names of the characters and their source. Example: "Hong Meiling from Touhou Project15".
4. Provide references for characters, items, etc.
5. Specify the date by which you want the work done. The artist may be busy at the moment, but will put you in the order queue if possible.
Price
Price and deadline depend on the number of characters, style, detailed backgrounds.
Illustration (CG)
($50--300, one week)I draw several sketches based on your description for $10-20 each, you choose one of them and I work on it. Average price ~100$
Stickers/icons/emoticon
($10--25, two day)Each new character on the same sticker + $2.
Sprites:
($50-250, one week)The order includes 1 pose: naked body + 1 clothes, standard emotion package).
Additional clothes - from $25.
Additional pose = new sprite order. If the pose is made from the first one (for example, replacement of hands), then this pose is for 1/3 price.
The price includes:
- The art itself in PSD/PNG format in 2x resolution.
- All intermediate works (unused sketches) are also transferred to the customer.
- Transfer of exclusive rights to the artwork: you may use the artwork for any commercial purposes (from the game itself to the release of merchandise with the artwork); you may modify the artwork without my permission. The copyright remains with the artist (i.e. you must include the artist in the artwork).
- The artist reserves the right to publish the artwork. The artist will not publish art before one year has passed since the last completed art. The Artists may publish artworks already published by the Client without the Client's permission, specifying the Client/Game. If the client does not want his/her artwork to be published by the artist, the artwork will be priced at 2x.
- The artist is not obliged to link to the customer's project or advertise it in any way.Procedure of work and payment:
- Agreement of the terms of reference with the customer, the artist says the cost of the art;
- Sketch. The artist shows the preview - the customer transfers the payment for the sketch. After that, the sketch is handed over to the customer.
- Lineart. The artist shows the preview - the client transfers 50% of the remaining cost of the art. After that, the lineart is forwarded to the customer.
- Final version. Artist shows the preview - customer transfers 50% of the remaining value of the art. After that, the art is transferred to the customer. Work on the art is considered completed.If the artwork is completed and passed to the customer, any corrections to the completed artwork are charged at the rate of $7 per hour. The same rate applies to any other work.
If you need to draw something technically complex on the art, which requires special knowledge, then corrections on this point are also paid at this rate. (For example: a musical instrument or weapon. An artist selects references and draws from them, he can not know the complete structure of such items and can make a mistake). It is in your interest to provide references of complex items/equipment/others, so that you do not have to make edits.If you're not satisfied with the deadline, I can draw everything in half the time, but the cost will be doubled. Maybe even three times as fast (not for all artworks) - then the price will be four times as high.
